A Young People's History of the United States
by Howard Zinn
Throughout the school year, we will be focusing on different periods of United States history. As you are reading the assigned chapters, pay attention to important events, people, dates, and themes.
Step 1: Read the assigned chapters and complete guides with a partner or small group. Turn in guides to receive credit (these will be graded and returned...keep for future reference).
Step 2: Check back to this page for selected topics significant to the assigned chapters. You will be creating a Google Presentation that highlights at least two of the topics identified on this page for each chapter. This will be an on-going project for Project Block and will be presented towards the end of the year. Be creative, be thorough, and most importantly, do not fall behind on this assignment.
