All About Me!
For this project, you will create a Google document that is all about you! Follow the directions below.
1.Write a paragraph (3-5 sentences) about yourself, including information such as your name, age, siblings, parents, culture, friends, hobbies, interests, etc.
2. Include a bulleted list of your favorite foods, copy and paste a picture of that food (from clipart).
3. Write a paragraph about one quality that describes your personality (honest, loyal, friendly, funny, hard-working, determined, etc). Find the definition dictionary and include it in your paragraph, and give an experience in your life when you’ve demonstrated this trait.
Bold and underline the word.
Italicize the definition.
Final copy will be printed and should include the following:

Internet Safety Project
August 27, 2012
Internet safety will be the focus of 8th grade's first project that includes research and formal writing. We will be discussing topics such as netiquette, cyber bullying, digital footprints and privacy, and plagiarism and citations. Students will be working with a partner to develop an internet safety brochure that will be shared with their class.
Internet safety brochure must include:
- Section on netiquette
- Section on cyber bullying
- Section on digital footprint/privacy
- Section on plagiarism
- Citations of sources used (at least 2 websites and 2 books)
- Top ten tips for internet safety
- Proper conventions
Brochure is worth 70 points. Please use rubric below as a guide while completing your project.
*Brochure document was shared to your Google account. You must first make a copy before typing and share the document with your partner.*
